Why 125cc Is the Right Next Step
The 125cc ATV is built for the rider who has moved past the basics. A 110cc develops the fundamentals — throttle control, steering, braking, trail awareness. The 125cc is where those skills get tested against real terrain. More torque means the machine handles inclines, loose dirt, and uneven trail surfaces without struggling. The rider feels the difference immediately.
What carries over from the 110cc class is just as important as what steps up. Both the Apollo Jet 9 and Apollo Sportrax 125 are fully automatic — no clutch, no gear shifting. The adjustable speed governor and wireless remote kill switch are standard on both models, so parents keep the same two-layer safety control they had on the 110cc. The seat height on both is 28.7 inches — a stable, low platform for a developing rider.

The wireless remote kill switch cuts the engine from up to 30 feet away, independent of the rider. Both the Jet 9 and Sportrax 125 include it as standard — the same parental control layer that defined the 110cc class.

Every major Chinese manufacturer — TaoTao, Coolster, X-PRO, Apollo Blazer 9, IceBear, Roketa, SunL — runs the same basic 125cc 4-stroke air-cooled platform with automatic CVT transmission and the standard safety feature stack.
