Getting There
5301 Ralphs Ranch Road, Gorman CA 93243. Take the I-5 north to Gorman exit. Enter via the north kiosk. Small day-use entrance fee per vehicle. GPS: use the north kiosk entrance only.
Best Times to Visit
Spring and fall are ideal — summer temperatures at Gorman can be very hot, and there is no drinking water in the park. Bring extra water, sunscreen, and shade if visiting June–September.
Trails at Hungry Valley SVRA — By Skill Level
One of the best things about Hungry Valley for LA families is the range of terrain. First-timers can stay on the wide, smooth fire roads and practice area. Intermediate riders can explore the main trail network. Advanced riders can push into the technical canyons and single-track ridgelines that connect to Los Padres National Forest.

Wide, flat, smooth hardpack. The 10-acre ATV practice area near Aliklik campground is the perfect starting point for first-time riders. Zero obstacles, low speed, parent-supervised.

Main Trail Network
